Jose Weymann is a third year double majoring in History and Public Policy at John Muir College. Jose is interested in development history and global relations. He has worked with several different service organizations that deal with issues of global development, which drives his motivation to participate in Model United Nations. Jose has been involved with MUN since freshman year in high school as a delegate and conference organizer. Jose has a special place for organizing conferences as it enables others to enjoy what he has enjoyed for so long.
Vaishnavi is a third year student at UCSD's Muir College studying Cognitive Science & Political Science. She was a member of her high school's Model UN team for 4 years and has always had an interest in international relations as she feels that it is important for today's youth to stay informed about current events so they may knowledgeably shape the future. Some of her favorite passions include guiding wilderness trips with Outback Adventures, listening to groovy music, drinking an unhealthy amount of black coffee, and reading contemporary poetry.
Simon is a third year student majoring in Political Science - International Relations. During his upbringing in Sweden he cultivated a strong interest in politics by being an active member in a political party and doing Model UN in high school. He is also minoring in Middle Eastern Studies, a region with cultures and politics for which he has a special interest in. When he is not struggling with Arabic grammar or security politics, Simon enjoys hiking, surfing, and long trips to IKEA.
